Today has been a day of things - nothing in particular, indeed. The tabby terror hasn’t been around so it’s been peaceful.

Ahmose is up to her arboreal tricks, watching what’s coming from the other gardens, while Isis is seen stalking along the path. Hattie, meanwhile has been pressing the buttons on the computer scanner.

Just what is the attraction of bookshelves? Strange, dusty old things, books. People like them, but cats? No accounting for taste, I suppose…

We’ve been seeing more of Thutmose recently. This is because a new tabby cat has been terrorising the clan. Indeed, he attacked me the other day. It shook me up, I can tell you. Mind you, I gave him a good bite on the neck - I bet he felt that. Just as well one of the humans pulled us apart, I can’t say what damage I might have done otherwise… Anyway, Thutmose has been helping out. Today, he was at the top of the drive in my usual chess place. Well done old bean, keep up the good work.

Meanwhile, Ptolemy has been doing some window duty. Shame it’s the wrong type of window…

Saturday morning sorting out is always smoother when a cat lends a hand to help out. Berenike is more than willing to oblige. There was a drawer in here a moment ago, I wonder where it went? Better take a look and see if I can find it…
