Painting and Decorating
The humans have been painting and decorating this weekend. Naturally, I have been drafted in to carry out the supervision. I think that wall needs a second coat, there… Yes, just there, I can see a bit of the previous coat showing through.
Anyway, with these blinds down, I don’t know whether I should be concentrating on the inside and checking the quality of the work, or watching outside.. Oy, whose car is that pulling up outside?
Still, with Berenike being a willing apprentice, the workload is halved.

Bast on Duty
Even Bast gets some window duty in occasionally. Well, that’s when she isn’t asleep at her post. This is usually detected by the gentle snoring emanating from the direction of the window blinds. She thinks we haven’t sussed it…
