There’s nothing quite like settling down for a good kip in a box…
Isis guards the garden path. It is her domain and no other cat may pass without passing her, first. She is much like the mythical troll that demands payment or a forfeit from travellers who wish to cross its bridge. I just push past, of course, as is the right of my rank. Bast just biffs her round the ears. Ahmose makes a run for it and Berenike will sneak behind the watering can to avoid being seen. No one takes much notice, but that doesn’t stop her trying.
And here she is in a more, shall we say, amicable mood…
