Bast likes to sit on the garage door when it is open. It is a good vantage point. From there she can see what is going on and mostly folk don’t notice her. You would almost think that she is thinking intelligent thoughts of the nature of the universe kind… almost, but not quite. And my, aren’t those whiskers magnificent?

When a cat yawns, it is a jaw breaking exercise. The whole head splits in two, the whiskers come forward and almost meet in the middle. The tongue engages in a wonderful convoluted “s” shape. A work of art, indeed. Bast demonstrates the technique to perfection.
