It doesn’t matter how many times boxes are put down on the floor, there will always be a willing cat. This time it’s Berenike who demonstrates that a good box is a find worth grabbing hold of. Possession is twelve tenths of the law as far as cats are concerned.

This snatched mugshot is of the notorious bengal tom, Sprout aka ASBO. A fine feline fellow who terrorises the neighbourhood with fighting and stealing food. He went missing late last year, but the disruption of the past week or so is evidence of his return. Yup. lock and bolt your doors, barricade the catflaps; ASBO is back in town…

Arsinoe demonstrates beyond all reasonable doubt that whatever indignity her mother indulges in, she is more than able to keep up…

Ahmose has never been the most dignified of cats. Increasingly barrel shaped (as is her mother, I’m told) she likes to make the most of a warm radiator. Nothing wrong with that. Indeed, any respectable cat will do likewise. But…

If you ask me, it needs tidying up…

When the humans were in France last month, they took pictures of the cats next door. Sometimes, they weren’t next door at all. Sometimes they came in for the odd bowl of milk…

The humans have gone to France for the break. That means we get the place to ourselves. In the meantime, Honey keeps a close watch on them when over there. Mind you, she was a little tardy this time; it took her an hour and a half to realise that they had arrived. Still, not one to let such concerns bother her, she spent the night sleeping on the duvet keeping guard.

Unfortunately, upon looking at my referral logs, I note that images from my sites have been used and manipulated without my permission. I generally take a relaxed approach about the use of my content – certainly fair use is not affected in any way, but the stealing of RSS feeds caused me to resort to partial feeds following discovery of wholesale theft of posts. Now it is images that are being hot-linked (this is bandwidth theft) and subsequent derivatives made.

I will, generally, allow people to use my images providing they ask first and acknowledge the source. I will not, under any circumstances agree to derivatives and will invoke copyright law should I discover any instances. I am currently doing so with a site at the moment.
